Diskly Privacy Policy

Diskly is a macOS app for analyzing and cleaning up disk space, published by 212medya. This policy explains how Diskly handles your information. In short: Diskly does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data.

Data we collect

None. Diskly has no user accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs, and it does not send any data to 212medya or anyone else.

Data stored on your Mac

  • Folder access: Diskly only reads folders you choose in the standard macOS open panel. Access is remembered with a security-scoped bookmark stored on your Mac.
  • Scan history: To show storage trends, Diskly keeps a limited summary of past scans (folder names, paths and sizes). File contents are never read for this purpose, and this data never leaves your Mac.
  • Settings and cleanup log: Your preferences and a log of items you moved to the Trash are stored locally so you can undo a cleanup.
  • Duplicate finder: To detect duplicate files, Diskly may compare file contents locally on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Storage summaries: On supported Macs, text summaries are generated with Apple's on-device model. Processing happens entirely on your Mac.

You can remove all of this data at any time by deleting the app.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Diskly schedules local notifications (for example, low storage alerts or a weekly report). They are generated on your Mac and are not sent through any server.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. 212medya does not receive your payment details. Apple's handling of this information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Diskly does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
