212medya Growth Check (the "app") is an app for ChatGPT published by 212 Medya Dijital Pazarlama Ajansı ("212medya", "we"), Kurtköy, Aeropark, Yenişehir, Osmanlı Blv. No:11, 34912 Pendik/İstanbul, Türkiye. This policy explains what the app processes, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and what control you have. It covers only the app; our website is covered by our general privacy policy.

Summary

• Website checks need no account and no personal data: you provide a website address, we analyze the public page.
• We only receive your name and contact details if you ask 212medya to contact you and confirm the details in ChatGPT.
• We do not sell data, show ads, or share app data with advertising platforms.

1. Website checks (audit_website, check_ai_search_readiness)

What we process: the website address you ask the app to check, the optional list of target languages, and the publicly available content of that page together with the site's robots.txt, XML sitemap and llms.txt files.

Why: to run the requested analysis and return the results to ChatGPT.

How: our checker requests those files from the website using the user agent 212medya-GrowthCheck and follows the site's robots.txt rules. For mobile performance results, the website address is sent to the Google PageSpeed Insights API.

Retention: results are cached for up to 6 hours so repeated checks of the same page are fast, then deleted automatically. The cache is keyed by the page address and does not identify you.

2. Rate limiting

ChatGPT sends an anonymized user identifier with each request. We use it only to limit how many checks one user can run per minute. The counter expires after about one minute; we do not store the identifier with results or use it for tracking or profiling. We do not request or store your location, chat history or IP address for this purpose.

3. Expert review requests (request_expert_review)

If you ask 212medya to contact you, ChatGPT shows you the details before sending them, and they are sent only after you confirm.

What we process: your name, email address, company name, the topic you selected, your message, and, if you choose to provide them, your website, phone number and preferred language. We also record that the request came from the ChatGPT app.

Why: to reply to your request and, if you wish, prepare a proposal. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (KVKK art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Recipients: 212medya's team. The request is delivered to us by email and stored in our customer-enquiry database.

Not shared with advertisers: requests from the app are not sent to Google Analytics, Meta or any other advertising or analytics platform.

Retention: we keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or you become a customer (then our customer contracts apply). You can ask us to delete them at any time.

4. Service providers

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts the app, its cache and database, and delivers notification emails.
• Google LLC: receives the website address you check, through the PageSpeed Insights API.

These providers may process data outside Türkiye, including in the United States and the European Union, under their own data-protection terms.

5. Technical logs

Our hosting platform records technical request logs (time, requested endpoint, status and errors) to operate and secure the service. These logs are kept for up to 30 days. Requests from ChatGPT come from OpenAI's servers, so these logs do not contain your device's IP address.

6. Data returned to ChatGPT

Tool results contain only the analysis of the website you asked about, or a confirmation that your request was sent. They contain no personal data apart from the email address you confirmed in a contact request. How ChatGPT stores your conversations is governed by OpenAI's privacy policy.

7. Your rights and controls

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw a contact request by emailing destek@212medya.com. You also have the rights listed in article 11 of KVKK (Law No. 6698) and, where applicable, the GDPR, including the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority. You can stop using the app at any time by disconnecting it in ChatGPT.

8. Children

The app is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
