Frequently asked questions
The app says the website could not be reached.
Check the address in a browser first. The checker gives up after about 10 seconds, only uses standard ports (80/443) and cannot open pages on private networks, behind a login, or protected by strict bot-blocking rules.
The app says robots.txt does not allow the check.
Our checker identifies itself as 212medya-GrowthCheck and respects robots.txt. If the site disallows automated access to that page, we do not analyze it. Site owners can allow the checker with User-agent: 212medya-GrowthCheck and Allow: /.
A result looks wrong.
The checker reads the page HTML before JavaScript runs. Forms, tags or text that are added later by scripts or Google Tag Manager may not be detected; the results say so when this is likely. Results are cached for up to 6 hours, so recent changes may take that long to appear.
Why is performance data missing?
Mobile performance comes from Google PageSpeed Insights. If that service is slow or unavailable, the audit completes without it and tells you.
